You Are Worthy | Worship Conference

Over the last 2 and half years worship leaders in our church communities have been pushed, tried, challenged, and maybe even burnt out - at minimum, so many of us are tired.

And so, this FREE conference event is for you!

We want to say thank you for all you do and to encourage you in the face of all that we have endured together as worship volunteers. Join together with worship leaders from the lower-mainland Christian Reformed churches to be encouraged as we gather around the anthem of Revelation 4 and 5 to say, "You Are Worthy!"

Our prayer for this event is that we might be encouraged to remember who we worship, how we worship, and why we worship in our lives together as Christians.

Dr. Johnny Markin is the founding director of Worship Leader Institute. He has 30+ years of Christian Music Ministry in Canada and the UK, including 12 years of touring ministry, 20 years as Pastor of Worship at Northview Community Church, Abbotsford, BC, Canada; 3 years as an Adjunct Instructor of Worship Arts and Travelling Teams Instructor at Trinity Western University, preparing student teams for local church guest ministry as well as for opening on tour across the UK & Ireland with Rend Collective. He is currently Worship Director of Cloverdale Baptist Church in Surrey, BC, Canada.

Dr. David Squires is the Dean of the School of Arts, Media + Culture at Trinity Western University. His professional experience includes over 20 years on faculty at TWU; various part-time university teaching positions; and 11 years as full-time worship pastor in various churches across Canada.
